At Virkar, we continue to develop seeding solutions adapted to the real needs of modern agriculture. As a result of this evolution, the new TACTIC seeder is born, a reduced and adapted version of our Ocean model, maintaining its core philosophy of performance and reliability.
The TACTIC is designed for farmers looking to increase working capacity while maintaining full control over the seeding process. With a working width ranging from 7.5 to 9 meters, it allows large areas to be covered efficiently, optimizing time and cost per hectare.
High manoeuvrability even at large working widths
Despite its size, the TACTIC stands our for its excellent maneuverability, a key factor in day-to-day operations. As an option, it can be equipped with a steered axle controlled by the S3 system, significantly improving machine tracking, reducing the turning radius and minimizing soil compaction.
Greater autonomy and ease of use
The seeder is equipped with a 7,000-litre pressurized hopper, designed for long working days with fewer refill stops. In addition, it features an automatic opening and closing hopper cover, providing greater convenience and safety during loading operations.
New Virkar dosing system
One of the main advances of the TACTIC is its new Virkar dosing system, developed to improve seed rate accuracy. This system ensures uniform and consistent distribution under all working conditions.
Seeding units adapted to every type of terrain
The TACTIC can be configured with low-maintenance disc or tine seeding units, allowing it to adapt to different soil types and working conditions. The units are equipped with a parallelogram system offering up to 35 cm of individual unit adaptability, a particularly important feature in large-width machines, as it ensures a constant seeding depth even on uneven terrain.
With the TACTIC, Virkar offers a seeder that combines precision and ease of operation, transferring the philosophy of the Ocean model to a more compact and adaptable machine suitable for a wide range of farming operations.
